The welcome screen presents the homepage of the Single Window Clearance Portal for RTS implementation in Goa which is accessible using the URL www.solarrooftop.gov.in/goa/.
Apart from submitting the installation interest to set up grid connected rooftop solar system, this screen helps the user to know more about rooftop solar PV technology, state and central government policies and schemes and also get answers to his questions from category based frequently asked questions.
The welcome screen also has a function of language translation. The primary language of the welcome screen will be English, however, the consumers can also access the same in Hindi language.
Contact section of the SWC Portal can be accessed from the top menu bar on the welcome screen. This page displays the contact details of officials from GEDA and GED. Consumers as and when required may directly approach the concerned officials in case of any question or help required.
- GEDA may be approached for subsidy/CFA and information related concerns. and portal related issues;
- GED may be approached for grid connectivity and metering related issues.

Learn more section of the SWC Portal can be accessed from the top menu bar on the welcome screen.This section provides information about the GCRT programme,central & state government specific schemes, available technology and components of a grid connected rooftop solar system.
4. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
FAQ option can be accessed from the top menu bar on the welcome screen. This screen displays category based frequently asked questions and their answers.This area is a comprehensive information section which helps the user to understand the rooftop solar associated information at one place.
5. Login for SNA, DISCOM and Installer
User dashboard for State Nodal Agency i.e. Goa Energy Development Agency, Distribution Company i.e. Goa Electricity Department and empanelled RTS installers can be accessed from the ‘LogIn’ button from the top menu bar on the welcome screen. This screen asks the user to enter the user specific credentials to login in their respect dashboard.User specific email address acts as a username of the credentials.
6. Consumer Check Status
Dashboard for consumers can be accessed from the ‘Consumer Check Status’ button from the top menu bar on the welcome screen. This screen asks the consumer to enter his/her Mobile number and received OTP (One time Password), to login in their respect dashboard.Consumer has to make sure, that the entered mobile number is as per the details registered on the portal while submitting the installation interest form.There is no provision to change the mobile number of the consumer, once registered.
